A: Contracts are not requested or required. All services are customized to our client needs. NPLHC provides our customers with a service agreement that captures our client needs and wants. Service agreements are evergreen, providing our clients with the ability to modify their service needs at will.
Q: Is there any additional cost to me?
A: NPLHC services are ‘all inclusive’. Our clients will never be charged any fees for additional or changes in service.
Q: What should I be looking for in a non-medical home care agency?
Q: How long will it take to get a caregiver?
A: Based on your needs and requests, we can provide a caregiver immediately or at your convenience.
Q: Can I help choose the caregiver and/or meet them in advance?
A: Yes. If requested, No Place Like Home Care will arrange a meeting with a preselected caregiver. If at any time or for any reason you want to change caregivers, we will do so at no charge until you are completely satisfied.
Q: What happens if a caregiver is unable to show up for a scheduled shift?
A: If your family’s caregiver is unavailable for any reason, another is made immediately available. No Place Like Home Care, LLC’s management team, will make a personal introduction of the interim caregiver.
Q: How do you select my caregiver?
A: All of our caregivers have successfully passed a thorough reference and national criminal background check and are bonded and insured. We match your specific needs and requests to the skills and background of each caregiver to find the ideal companion.

Personal Care - A professional caregiver can handle all the daily mental and physical challenging tasks on behalf of family caregivers in providing personal care assistance with bathing, dressing, toileting and more.
Respite Care - Provide short-term, temporary relief to those who are caring for family members who might otherwise require permanent placement in a facility outside the home
Homemaking - Ensuring the house is kept up, warm and well-cooked meals are prepared, and safe transportation to errands and appointments are all part of non-medical home care.
Companionship – Caregivers provide direct companion services and can ensure transportation to social activities, errands, appointments and shopping trips.
